Here’s some shots of the firemen in NY. Cool shot of them leaving a station to start with, a few shots of a load of guys heading to a false alarm up in Canada in Manhattan (Inwood) and an actual fire I wandered past down in Union Square one day. It wasn’t a very big fire but in typical NY style about a million dudes turn up to “fight” that fire. Truck after truck arrived and once they got ascended ladders and broke down doors they smashed every window, every single window, and trashed every floor before packing up and heading off. The Gangs of New York eh hahaha.

Here are a few pics I luckily got of a big time gangster getting taken down one afternoon in Chelsea. The dude was driving a Brabus AMG Merc – so he must have been in Big Time – hahaha.  He was chased down by loads of cops, undercover cars, detectives’, regular cop cars, armed response vans, armored vehicles and a multitude of cops of various rank and order. All the cops looked very happy and were hugging and celebrating after taking down the Big Guy. There was a lot of sergeants and captains hanging round and they all looked very pleased with themselves. The pics cover from where they blocked him off and chasing vehicles pulled up, rammed him up against his Brabus, searched his Brabus and then bundled him into the Paddy wagon (where u can see he looking back out off in the background of a couple of shots). Pretty cool. Classic NY street action which is just day to day shit over there. Few other random cop vehicle shots in there for good luck too.

Few cool snaps I got of the break-dancers that busk on the trains day after day in NYC. They will get on at the start of the lines in the outer borough’s and then do car by car, stop after stop – the whole into the heart of Manhattan. One of the many solicitors on the underground in NY, from homeless poets and musicians, war veteran’s, immigrant buskers and crazies, trendies and wallies.
